My practice can support you to explore and be curious about your emotional well-being and mental health.
I am able to provide a safe, enriching space, where together we can think about your journey and what has led you to therapy.
My work is informed by a psychodynamic framework, which is the study of the psychological forces that underlie human behaviour. This thinks about your unconscious and conscious feelings, and how these might relate to your early life experiences.
Empathy and compassion are the core values of my work as a therapist and I can work flexibly with your emotional needs in a sensitive way.
Training and Past Experiences
I completed MA Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths University in London and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
As a stipulation of being registered with HCPC, I am required to actively keep an up to date CPD portfolio, this for me includes, a diploma in CBT, Mindfulness with children and adults and Critical Incident Debriefing.
I offer a variety of skills and experiences, having held established roles in residential care, domiciliary care, in-patient care, and community care, with children, adolescents, adults and with the elderly.
